Number 9 (Hong Kong, CHINA) ★★★☆☆

I found myself in unfamiliar territory once again, this time in To Kwa Wan.

After visiting a friend's friend at his office, I was wandering around in this unfamiliar neighborhood looking for a lunch spot and was rather fortunate to find Number 9.

This is a brand new American restaurant specializing in burgers, lobsters and oysters. What a breathe of fresh air in an area that is old and boring.

Unfortunately they don't serve lobsters or oysters in the afternoon so burgers would be my only option here. There are certainly some intriguing choices available when it comes to burgers. That included their spicy lamb burger, devil's beef burger with foie gras and lemon chicken burger (president's lobster burger was not available).

I went with their lemon chicken burger and it was pretty darn good. The chicken fillet was pan fried to perfection with a lovely hint of lemon.

Too bad fries were optional and I didn't have the time for them. Heard their truffle fries were to die for. Will definitely give it a go next time.
